A widespread gathering that was organized in the Farhangsara neighborhood of Kamyaran to express solidarity with the family of Fouad Mohammadi, one of the casualties of the nationwide protests in 1401, was confronted with a deadly attack by government forces. In this assault, at least one protester named Borhan Karami was killed by a direct gunshot to his head from the rifle of an IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) sniper.
